This is a still from the video piece “Estallido Social” (Social outbreak.) This is a performative component of the larger installation, “Entre Sistemas Invisibles.” I danced with a courageous person who was involved in the 2021 Colombian protests and helped intertwine hope through our dance. We dance over this piece with my bare feet covered in glue. Once it dried, I revealed the movements of the dance with metallic foil transfer. The piece became a testimony of the performance.
