These pears are either about to get eaten or jump off the cliff. I wanted to show that fruits and vegetables can lead an exciting life outside of our kitchens.
This is a painting I was inspired to do following a viewing of several large murals in the area around where I live. It made me think of placing fruits and vegetables in outdoor/landscape settings. And then I started to have fun thinking of ways I could show a sense of humor and give these pears an emotional voice.
