I created this piece to go with my other recent vegetable and fruit still lifes. The mushrooms definitely took on a fun, somewhat psychedelic, pop art feel. This is partially due to my use of Flashe paints, which provide intense pigments and vibrant, matte, smooth coverage. I love these paints and can't wait to continue my "vegetables and fruits with emotions" series!
