This painting won best in small works at the Penfield NY Spring Show of 2025. I was on a hike the previous summer when I took some photos of the pond, tall grasses and lily pads. There is so much growth around the ponds in this park that there are several places where you feel like you're peeking at the water. I'm know the birds love it there, as do the humans!
