Microphones from two karaoke machines are dragged behind a tricycle as it drives through the city. Translating the physical space to sound. Filmed in Manila, where his practice is now based, the artist strapped two karaoke machines behind a tricycle, which circled around they city’s streets. As a result, the microphones translated the physical road into sound as they picked up vibrations while being dragged through asphalt. Both the visual and sonic components of this work were then edited to an eight-channel sync video installation at the gallery.
