ARTIST STATEMENT:
I keep a sketchbook habit, and I generally begin and end each sketchbook with a self-portrait. As most of my tapestries come from my sketches, I began a series of Selfie tapestries. This is the 4th in that series. It is of a birthday celebration, which included my favorite drink, which is a rare treat.

Handwoven tapestry.
