Out of Lockdown

Finally lockdowns were over. We could reconnect. Yet they were tentative reconnections. We were tired. Exhausted. Still scared.

And then many of us caught covid when lockdowns ended. Some of us have been touched by long covid symptoms. Reconnection has come with it's own price.

Yet we are social. We need each other. Lockdowns taught me and my clients how we depend on one another. Our social anxiety might take some time to shake but is worth challenging. We are connected by threads of love, shared pain, attachment, empathy, understanding and openness to accept each other's differences.
