And just when we thought we had seen and experienced it all, the storm hit in Victoria. It was a death zone of huge ancient trees and people were thrown into crisis again. A stark reminder of the climate crisis, there was a sense of our world tumbling out of control, over a tipping point. I remember seeing trees down around Daylesford on the way to visit Radius Gallery in Hepburn to drop off some artwork. Areas that were previously heavily forested were completely cleared. It looked like a battle field of fallen wise men. I felt very sad around this time.
