This is an early mixed media painting that includes clothing, an old paintbrush, a penny, plastic mesh, and a ridiculous amount of paint for such a small painting. It was one of the few completed in that period as I was going through some big life changes then.
It reflects the angst I was feeling at the time with myself and the environment in general. There is a big dose of humor included as that one of my coping mechanisms. You may be able to gather that on your own by the included text and the crushed can subject.
It has always been one of my favorite paintings.
