The inspiration for mood board was during a stress-induced episode of insomnia. The base shape of the piece is inspired by Seigawa, a traditional Japanese pattern of repeating circles creating the illusion of waves. Instead of waves, portraits were featured showcasing the competition of thoughts as they race towards the same direction. The portraits are a mix of folklore, historical figures, pop culture references, and self-portraits One portrait, the Hyottoko mask, makes eye contact with the viewer to show being surrounded by overwhelming energy.
