The large windows of my atelier are my blessing.
Perched on the third floor, they’re not just windows, they’re towering walls of glass.
A dome finishes the equation, as if it’s floating in the sky.
I’ve grown familiar with birds.
Some days they come and go, like they’re playing.
Other days, they crash, fall, and die.
The Bird Man was born from this game of life and death.
An abstract figure who comes for them, to carry them somewhere else, to another dimension.
