María Fernanda Lavera is a cotemporary artist, from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
MessageThere are moments when emotion doesn’t ask for permission, it arrives, urgent and overwhelming. In one of those moments, inspiration surged not as choice, but necessity.
The chaos, the noise, the speed of the great Metropolis pushed the artist to the brink. In response, an escape began, not yet in action, but in vision.
In these three works: Fleeing from the Great Metropolis, Fleeing II, and Plan de Fuga, the same theme pulses like a heartbeat: the desire to run, to abandon the synthetic, to reclaim silence, sky, and space.
With every layer of paint, the urgency deepens. Abstract forms melt into motion. Geometries collapse. City grids break open into imagined paths.
Plan de Fuga closes the trilogy, a symbolic map drawn with instinct more than logic. A way out. A way in. A dream of freedom.
