Northern California has some spectacular coastal vistas. This painting is from Sue-meg State Park in Trinidad, California. One early morning in October, I hiked down to the rocky beach and climbed over many boulders to make my way towards Cannonball Beach. Feeling and hearing the incredible energy of the ocean waves was reinvigorating. Everywhere I looked, life flourished: seals hunting in the waters, starfish and mussels on the rocks, and crabs scurrying around.
The painting can be purchased framed or unframed. The framed version features a flat black contemporary frame with an inner gold lip. It is wired on the back and ready for hanging. The painting itself has been sealed with a layer of Rublev finishing varnish to enhance and protect it.
