This plein air painting was painted on site along the San Francisco Bay, near a popular dog park called Point Isabel. Nestled off to the side of the road of the SF Bay Trail was a tiny inlet that mainly was undisturbed. The various hues of yellows, oranges, and greens in the grasses near the water were a beautiful contrast to the light blue of the water. I was drawn to the perspective of the clouds and the strong diagonals in the water, leading the eye into the distance.

The painting can be purchased framed or unframed. The framed version features a contemporary flat black frame with an inner gold lip. It is wired on the back and ready for hanging.
