Photographe et artiste explorant l’intimité, l’introspection et la transformation à travers l’image, les mots et les sons, Élodie Palfer-Sollier développe une esthétique poétique, minimaliste et sensible.
Née en 1972 à Paris, elle vit et travaille à Rennes. Photographe et artiste transdisciplinaire, elle associe photographie, écriture, son et vidéo dans une pratique à la fois intime, conceptuelle et symbolique. Sa démarche s’inscrit dans une recherche intérieure fondée sur l’observation et l’acceptation de soi, dans une forme de mise à nu.
À travers la photographie, elle explore l’introspection, l’intimité et la connexion. Le corps devient un territoire d’exploration, la peau une matière sensible. Ses images cherchent à instaurer une relation de proximité avec le regardeur, invitant chacun à s’accueillir tel qu’il est et à oser se révéler. La photographie devient ainsi un espace d’exploration des territoires de l’intime, où la lumière intérieure se révèle progressivement.
Deux séries occupent une place importante dans son travail.
RE-, axe central de sa recherche photographique, se compose de vingt-deux images — une photographie unique et sept triptyques — et s’articule comme un parcours symbolique autour de cycles de transformation, de retour et de réparation. Pensée comme une expérience à trois voix — image, musique et texte — la série explore un mouvement de disparition puis de réapparition à soi.
La série Scarto, réalisée en Italie, propose une approche plus indirecte de l’intime. Les photographies, accompagnées de textes, s’attachent aux traces, aux fissures et aux fragments du paysage urbain. Venise, Milan, Vérone et Naples y apparaissent comme des matières sensibles où le temps et les marques révèlent une mémoire persistante.

Élodie Palfer-Sollier is a French photographer and transdisciplinary artist exploring intimacy, introspection, and transformation through image, words, and sound. Her work develops a poetic, minimalist aesthetic grounded in sensitivity and emotional resonance.
Born in Paris in 1972, she lives and works in Rennes, France. Her practice combines photography, writing, sound, and video in a body of work that is both intimate, conceptual, and symbolic. Her approach is rooted in an inner inquiry based on observation and self-acceptance, unfolding as a form of personal unveiling.
Through photography, she explores introspection, intimacy, and connection. The body becomes a territory of exploration, the skin a sensitive material. Her images seek to establish a close relationship with the viewer, inviting each person to embrace themselves as they are and to dare to reveal who they are. Photography thus becomes a space for exploring inner territories where an inner light gradually reveals itself.
Two series hold an important place in her work.
RE-, the central axis of her photographic research, consists of twenty-two images — one single photograph and seven triptychs — and unfolds as a symbolic journey through cycles of transformation, return, and repair. Conceived as a three-voice experience — image, music, and text — the series explores a movement of disappearance followed by a reappearance to oneself.
The series Scarto, produced in Italy, offers a more indirect approach to intimacy. The photographs, accompanied by texts, focus on traces, cracks, and fragments of the urban landscape. Venice, Milan, Verona, and Naples appear as living surfaces where time and marks reveal a persistent memory.
