The wombat is a difficult little creature not to love, with it's enormous brown eyes and adorable little shuffle. A group of these little marsupials is known as a 'wisdom' - a name that I would imagine comes from their soft brown eyes with such a depth that they seem to have no end. However, these little creatures are full of surprises. Able to run at speeds of up to 40km/hr, these powerful little creatures have a beauty about them as their muscles engage and they gallop across the grasslands when the need arises. This piece is named after one of my closest friend's husband - a very loveable creature that is also full of surprises!
