These words of the Old Testament prophet Amoho are the ones paraphrased by Martin Luther King in his 1963 'I have a Dream' speech. My dream is that the injustices of the New Zealand Land Wars would be appropriately addressed by successive generations of New Zealanders as they come to better undertand how the shadow of those times continues to be cast its influence across twenty-first century Aotearoa. I set the whole scene in a half light as if the shapes and forms of 'nation' have not yet been fully defined.
