The abstract world is often pushed to obscurity. For some to think deeply about the spiritual side of our being requires deliberately taking time to do so. Maybe it is because our spirit is abstract, meaning it can’t be touched or seen, yet it is the very life that powers us. Joyous Tranquility is a remake of a previous year’s work that had no life. The painting bothered me and for that reason I felt it needed to be given life. It evolved into a completely different painting and the older one is now gone hidden under the life of Joyous Tranquility. I hope the same for your and my life.
