Each artwork in this collection highlights the seafood delicacies of Louisiana: the crawfish, oyster, and shrimp. Having grown up on the bayou, these subjects hold a deep connection to my heart, serving as focal points for exploration and reflection. Using a technique known as contour drawing, I’ve worked to capture the essence of each subject. With each stroke of my pencil, I create a continuous line, never lifting it from the surface until the entire form is complete. Once the drawing phase is finished, I layer each piece with acrylic paint, adding depth and vibrancy to every composition.
