Dories, Perkins Cove

I painted Dories, Perkins Cove because I have always been drawn to a line of boats tied up in a row. This view happened to come from the deck of Barnacle Billy's Restaurant in Ogunquit, Maine. I was inspired by the way the light was hitting the boats and I thought the afternoon light was perfect. This painting was selected as one of the images featured in the advertisement for The Whitney Galleries in Wells, Maine in The Art Guide 2016 for South Coast Maine and Seacoast New Hampshire. The advertisement was also in the 2016 Ogunquit Playhouse Playbill.
