I usually use "other" objects as painting palettes instead of traditional palettes. For example, I like to use telephone books: available for free, and when you're finished, you tear off the top pages. Super practical, but at some point I realized that as a mixture between painting and object they have real charm. Since then, I've been paying attention to how a palette look in the various stages. And if it happens that one has that certain something, I set it aside and later develop it into part of this series.
