“Juxtapositions” is a small format abstract that lives off contrasts: creamy white canvas meets coarse linen, impulsive splatters counter precise stripes, the smooth upper half — with a silky glossy varnish — collides with crumpled, matte fabric.

After finishing my "Sow What?" series, I wanted to keep using leftover canvases this way, this is the first piece that followed. The contrasts that intrigued me in "Sow What?" felt like the natural next step to explore. I already have several more canvases ready; I’m curious to see if the “contrasts” theme will keep showing up or if something different comes into life — I’ll let it surprise me.
