Drawing, ink on paper.

I am a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation based out of Wisconsin. The word Ho-Chunk translates into "the people of the big voice." I create contemporary Indigenous art and my mediums range from acrylic, ink and pencil to digital art. I gather my inspiration from many Native and non-Native artists from all over the globe, especially though from the woodlands area in the Midwest of the United States.

I create art for all walks of life to let people know we Indigenous people are still here and keep on producing wonderful inspiring art as we have for thousands of years.

Every design I create in some way, or another represents community and the drive to unite people through art. Unity is key especially in these trying days. I made "From Above Energy" at a great time in my life when the community around me was good and thriving happy place that had to be explained without words.
