Renault’s mural on the back wall of Coffee Plant Roaster on West 11th Avenue is a stunning portrait of an actual pigeon from the Eugene area. Dubbed Eugenie by the artist and photographer Martha Cooper, she belongs to building owner Irv Weiner, a pigeon flyer/fancier. Renault has focused her art on creating realistic depictions of pigeons and people — both things you can find in abundance in nearly every city around the world.
