"A Curious Friend" by Brendan McCullough is an original works of Acrylic on canvas. 300+ hours were spent on this piece. The artwork wraps around the sides of the canvas. I do this with all my works as it adds depth and allows the option to hang beautifully unframed.

I took the reference photo while backpacking in the North cascades of Washington. While taking a rest break on the trail, I made friends with this chipmunk, both of us curious of the other. This painting represents the unique connections we can share with nature when time is taken to sit and observe. I am a landscape and wildlife artist specializing in acrylic works. I draw inspiration from nature and my experiences exploring remote wilderness areas thus, the relationship between my passion for art, wildlife, and wilderness is symbiotic.
