This woman, upside down as if just fallen from the heavens, tries to find her balance, leaning on the single wing that remains from when she was an "angel". How can we, as humans, embrace the sensuality of the body we inhabit without loosing sight of our spiritual essence?
Aesthetically, this sculpture, one of the first created in Mexico, fuses the geometric forms of pre-Hispanic sculpture with the sensual lines of the European tradition.

Esta mujer, de cabeza como si acabara de caer del cielo, intenta encontrar su equilibrio apoyándose en el único ala que le queda de cuando era un «ángel». ¿Cómo podemos, como seres humanos, aceptar la sensualidad del cuerpo que habitamos sin perder de vista nuestra esencia espiritual?
Estéticamente, esta escultura, una de las primeras creadas en México, es el resultado de una fusión entre las formas geométricas de la escultura prehispánica y las líneas sensuales de la tradición europea.
