This sculpture is a contemporary interpretation of the Baroque paintings depicting the Annunciation in which volutes and swirls convey the floating movement of the angel's robe as a metaphor of the divine energy descending and entering matter to make itself visible and communicate.
As with all the sculptures of the Involutati series, each angle is unexpectedly different from the others, in a continuous and harmonious interplay of light and shadow on the smooth surface.

Esta escultura es una interpretación contemporánea de las pinturas barrocas que representan la Anunciación, en las que volutas y remolinos transmiten el movimiento flotante del manto del ángel como metáfora de la energía divina que desciende y penetra en la materia para hacerse visible y comunicarse.
Como en todas las esculturas de la serie Involutati, cada ángulo es inesperadamente diferente de los demás, en un continuo y armonioso juego de luces y sombras sobre la superficie lisa.
