This woman, upside down as if just fallen from the heavens, tries to accommodate herself as best as she can, using, to balance herself, the left over wing from when she was an "angel".
How can we, at the same time, accept the sensuality of the human body we inhabit yet not forget our spiritual essence?
Aesthetically, this sculpture, one of the first I made in Mexico, is the result of a fusion of the geometric forms of pre-Hispanic sculpture and the sensual forms of the European tradition.
