This was a School Connections Mural Art Project and included two workshops with Year Six students from Joondalup Primary School facilitated by the artist in March 2018.

The students were asked to reflect on their intuitive “Little Voices” and produce some drawn and written ideas for incorporation into the final mural design. The project has cross curricular relevance to both art and health and the positive message “We go nowhere alone, but everywhere together” inspired the mural.

Hayley’s paintings display a technical approach, mixed with nostalgia and humour, yet her playful aura is juxtaposed with darker undertones of the unknown, creating wonderful realities wherever she goes.
