This artwork was developed in 1994 when artists were prompted to collaborate with engineers to design innovative streetlighting for the Joondalup CBD.

Trees were the artist’s inspiration for the design of the streetlights. The arching lines, soft and compounding curves of the tree branches are reflected in the multiple lines of the light poles.
