Artist's statement: "My work, which consists of small to medium sized sculptures are made from terracotta clay that is press moulded and/or thrown. They are bisque fired and then smoked in sawdust to achieve earthy red/brown/black colours. The sculptures often have earth bases that are part of, and interact with, the ceramic form."
