An Americanized version of the 1969 Mexican production, The Sin of Adam and Eve, which starred Jorge Rivero as Adan and Kandy as Eva and was directed by Miguel Zacharias (billed as George Rivers, Candy Wilson, and Michael Zachary on the poster). The aesthetic of the poster mirrors those of other blockbuster films of the late 1960s and early 1970s. The poster also features the “R” (restricted) rating, which the MPAA had implemented just the year before. The debut of the now-familiar movie rating system spelled the official end of the Hollywood Production Code.
