I fell in love with a vase of peonies in a lovely welcoming AirBnB on the island of Texel in the Netherlands, my adopted home. They were in bud when we arrived and opened up on the first morning to a glorious display. I chose one to concentrate on and the vector art work took around six months, off and on, due to my frequent ill health. I like this variant a lot because it feels quite timeless and restrained (unlike some of my other variants!).
