A stylised image of a banana tree in early stages of growth based on one of my journalling sketches from winter 2020. Three identical images stack up with different blend modes and levels of transparency to create movement and depth. This variant on a pale blue ground.

- Signature: The limited editions are printed individually in strictly restricted print runs. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity which is signed. A vector signature (handwriting placed bottom left, vertically) is what I use on all my digital artworks, generally in green.

This is one of a pair of pictures based a journal sketch made on in December 2020. Both the blue pieces are subtly textured with, on close inspection, small triangular shapes layered on to the central image and a reduplication of it in a different colour and blend mode. The effect is intentionally unsettling to the eye as it moves in and out from one larger plant to a smaller and to playful hints of light and shade.
