One from a series of pictures of my 'rescue petunias'. These flowers were from a plant I got for free in a garden centre as it was not at all well. A few weeks later it rewarded me with a mass of flowers which continued from June to December. The resilience and the loveliness made them special for me and this vibrant series was the eventual result. If the series 1-6 were hung in a row this picture would be the climax. Each picture uses the same basic two blossoms but changes them dramatically using the resources of vector art - scale, axes, blend modes and repetitions. Here the 'two petunias' have multiplied into a monochrome bouquet on a lilac background.
