I found this wonderful flower in a country churchyard where the clean air let lichens flourish on the tree stems and the gravestones. Each year for hundreds of years, it felt, the yew trees and magnolias had filled the place with dark drama and shining beauty. Apart from the artist's print which hangs in my study at home there will only ever be 10 prints made of this image. It is very dear to me as it signalled spring time after darkness and was the first picture of mine that a total stranger found captivating. A huge morale boost!
