Rich textures found at the bottom of the beach, inspire this multi-paneled, unique work of art. Imagine retreating ocean tides revealing the remarkable intricacies at the bottom of the beach. Unveiled, would be visions of organic sea life and beach debris, expressed in nuanced colors of turquoise, cerulean, taupes and muddled browns.
Created on six 12" x 12" wood panels, the artwork flows from one panel to another, collectively designed as one 38” x 24” dramatic contemporary work.
As a unique, “one of a kind,” multi-panel artwork; this "Sixtych" paneled painting will add a dramatic statement to your decor.
"Bottom of Santa Moncia Beach" is enlarged 1000% to capture layers of beautiful textures and undertones, using oil encaustic paints and string imprints as mediums. String is dipped into hot oil paint and then dropped on top of oil painted panels as meandering tide-marks. The overall effect is a sumptuous color application.
My fine art has been described as inspiring and soulful, creating a visual meditation on environmental beauty.
