"Long Beach Surf Foam" triptych painting is rich with chunky, painterly textures and delicate, whimsical washes. Nuanced paint layers move from surface sand to surf & to gold leaf waves. Inspired by microscopic patterns in tide marks and ocean foam.
Beach images are expanded 1000% onto three canvases using mediums of acrylics and gold leaf. The image is presented as an ocean “slice," as if viewed from above.
People today need to find a peaceful, serene place in their soul. When I create my white paintings, its like painting a meditation session in a rainbow field.
The longer a person looks at my monochromatic white art work, the more subtle, reflective colors are revealed, creating a visual silence.
Triple panels, 108" total length, will fill your room with a spiritual energy that is both elegant and calm. Art work consists of three 30"wide canvas panels whose gold leaf waves flow across each canvas panel to drop down the 1.5" edge and continue on to the next panel's gold leaf waves.
