A Night At The Opera

This piece reads like the poster to an opera. War, Revolutions, Pollution, Illness and the occult are all clearly represented in this painting. The darker sides of the power struggle. This piece is also the result of many many sketches, drawings and language lessons all coming together in cohesion. The tags on the brick wall are all real people.
The quote in the middle-left is from the ancient Greek Philosopher, Plato and says:
"The greatest penalty for refusing to rule is to be ruled by someone inferior to yourself."

Coincidentally completed on remembrance day, commemorating the end of WWII 76 years ago.
