The ever changing skyline of Austin began to reflect its nighttime colors in the Pool at Barton Springs. This plein air painting was created on site after COA officials indicated that the pecan tree "Flo" was scheduled to for imminent removal. Fortunately, that did not happen for another month, giving many other swimmers an extended time to enjoy the beauty of the tree and the lights as well as the daytime shade for a little while longer.
