On the morning that this painting was done, a cotton candy sun was just rising over Texas grasslands at McClellan Creek National Grasslands. This unique ecosystem supports a remarkable diversity of life and is a testament to the brilliance of nature's design. The light cascaded towards me, tumbling over far rolling hills, across stands of scrub trees and onto the rolling grassland as I scrambled to capture this early morning moment.
It is offered for sale customed framed with a reverse beveled mat designed particularly for pastels.
