The pose captured shows this boy gazing at the leaves, nuts, and other treasures found in nature. He was totally absorbed in his collection so my painting needed to draw you to the boy and not the surroundings, that are muted and only partially in focus, so you could identify he was outside one a large rock surrounded by nature, but details of the place were unimportant to the story of this collector with his treasures.
