When scouting places to paint plein air I came across this beautiful spot. The day I returned to paint was overcast so I ended up abandoning the spot that day and created this in my studio from the photos I had taken the first time I saw it. Adjusting colors to make is springtime, which capturing the magnificent reflections in the water, made this painting personal.
