We first saw Carly Harvey giving a concert at an art center where the theme of the current exhibit was Blues. They couldn't have selected a better musician and singer for this event. Her music was an interesting combination of jazz, blues, and Native American music. Her energy was boundless. I was excited to be able to capture her and her energy in this painting.
