Paintings of Venice are popular but can become repetitive. I've done several painting inspired by Venice: one of gondoliers, a couple of the main canal, and one looking down a side canal at the curved bridges that are walkways above the water. This painting abandon's the traditional and provides a different view of Venice that focuses on everyday life.
