"Abrazo" is so-named because it depicts a monster hug between Noah and Elizabeth; my adult twin children. But that is only part of the story. The stain glass window-like composition began as a giant, globular hemoglobin molecule. Along the way, several live model figure drawings and portraits were added, together with a shy orangutan encountered at the Sacramento zoo.
