When creating each of these pieces, my hearts desire is to capture the moment in which you stand in awe of nature. Truly feeling like you’re experiencing a whole new world in a moment. Feeling the very air fill your lungs, refreshing your every moment a little longer. “…from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of God’s nature has been made visible…” (Romans 1:20) Inspired by a range of classic artists from Rembrandt, Monet, and Velasco. With each painting, I am pushing a new technique for myself. I could focus on color, contrast, light, pallet knife or brush, or simply painting for the sake of expressing pain or joy. But at the end of the day, I know the piece is done when I feel the same thing as the viewer, to feel the tranquility of nature.

Though all expressions of my creativity are a form of worship to the Lord, there are times when the Lord reveals a very specific image to me. Sometimes, they have a personal meaning, and others I have no idea what they mean to a person until He tells me. So, I challenge you to allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you through these pieces. Some may stand out to you more than others. But He is always speaking. And He always wants to say something to you.
