Statement

In the past, art was often described as beautiful or creative, divinely inspired, or to say it simply, it is elysian. In my opinion, that is still truth today. Through years of struggling and learning, I’ve come to learn that my creative process is the outpouring of elysian.

As an artist who loves and dreams to draw wonderful landscapes and beautiful people, I use tools such as graphite, ink, and watercolors, to present the reality I see. Thus, it evokes strong emotions of peace, hope, joy, sadness, pain, and pride. The beauty of nature and humanity is mixed with my childlike imagination to portray an eye-opening experience of the awe admiring world that we do and dream to live in. But not only that, my art is created to make a person think and get an understanding of their own hearts and minds as well as those of others.

My hope is to continue on this path, staying curious and willing to expand my craft in the realm of digital art, taking my art to children and adults alike and presenting them with hope. But also, to challenge the way we think internally and socially, so we may step out of confusion into a complete understanding of who we are. “We breathe; therefore we create” (Erwin Raphael McManus).
