When creating each of these pieces, my hearts desire is to capture the moment in which you stand in awe of nature. Truly feeling like you’re experiencing a whole new world in a moment. Feeling the very air fill your lungs, refreshing your every moment a little longer. “…from the creation of the world, the invisible qualities of God’s nature has been made visible…” (Romans 1:20) Inspired by a range of classic artists from Rembrandt, Monet, and Velasco. With each painting, I am pushing a new technique for myself. I could focus on color, contrast, light, pallet knife or brush, or simply painting for the sake of expressing pain or joy. But at the end of the day, I know the piece is done when I feel the same thing as the viewer, to feel the tranquility of nature.
