Inspired by Montana River Rock the particular stone for this painting is available to go with the painting. The rock was found along the Clark Fork River near French Town area. The stone is about 2x1 inches big. This piece is painted out of mixed medium with paints and plasters from my job sights. The painting is on an upcycled oak kitchen cabinet with the Image wrapping around all sides. I used the leftover hemlock trim to build the floater frame. The natural wood matches the orange Venetian plaster very well. With the same black cabinet coat used in the painting, I painted the inside of the frame to make the painting pop.
